ABOUT JAC

Jac Rubenstein has been a sound editor for over 40 years, based mostly in New York, and, occasionally, Berlin. He has worked with a wide array of directors, including Martin Scorsese, Barry Levinson, Noah Baumbach, Malcom Lee, Anton Corbijn, Shaka King, Jonathan Demme, Doug Lyman, Mary Harron….and many more.

After making a handful of short films in Chicago, gathering some attention, he took a long break from that to concentrate on writing short stories. But now, after a long pause, he has returned to his first love: making short, personal, unexpected films.
